Fat Tuesday Brass Band

Fat Tuesday is a seven piece band formed in Montreal in the summer of 2002. Taking their cue from groups like The Dirty Dozen and Rebirth, the focus is on good tunes and good times. The repertoire consists mostly of their own songs, as well as some Funk and Jazz classics. To keep it in the tradition (and to make it fonky) they have two drummers, one on bass drum and the other on snare. Add to that a driving sousaphone and a front line of trumpets, trombone and sax and you know you’re gonna have some fun.
